Beware of a Racist Hurricane!!!
Looks like another racist hurricane is headed for the gulf. The Army Corps of engineers announced today that the levees around New Orleans may not hold if another hurricane hits.

While Mayor Nagin is running around being the biggest jerk in America and making smart assed comments about New York city has he got a useful workable evacuation plan? I mean...a year ago at this time he was being advised to get the people out of town and blew it off.

Does he expect President Bush to personally fly down and drive all the buses or will he call in actual civil servants to do their duty? The irony of his chocolate city is that in the aftermath of last year's hurricane the demographic makeup of New Orleans is much different. More then 1/3 of the population has not returned. Those people tend to be 1. poor and 2. black. The city is demographically much whiter today with more likelihood of financial wealth then it was one year ago.

Regardless Spike Lee, Jesse Jackson and Mayor Nagin are likely all set to bash the administration if this Ernesto slams into the gulf coast. Nevermind that a year ago the President declared a Federal disaster area PRIOR to the storm making landfall. Nevermind that the Governor of Louisiana and the Mayor of New Orleans publically blew the President off. The devastation of this ridiculous city was obviously the fault of the White House. Katrina was a racist hurricane that just hated black people exclusively. Oh wait a minute...you mean to tell me that the majority of Katrina victims were white?

Dems Really Love to Steal Elections
The Southern Christian Leadership Conference is planning marches in south Georgia to protest a great injustice being perpetrated on one of their precious own.
What is the injustice you ask? Well it seems that Ronda Cross-Scott, a former Clinch County Commissioner has been jailed following her removal from office in 2004 after it was pointed out that she does not live in Clinch County. Further she registered to vote at multiple addresses. She was facing 14 charges of voter fraud. She pled guilty to 3 charges and was sentenced to 3 months in jail with 15 years of probation.
Apparently this rises to the level of injustice requiring the entire state of Georgia to be shut down. I am sure this is exactly what Dr. King had in mind when he marched at the peak of the civil rights movement.
Can't you just hear the chanting.."we shall overcome!" Indeed Democrats insist on a Constitutional right to commit election fraud.

A Moonbat Judge and NSA Eavesdropping
Last week the entire world was shocked to learn that a major terrorist attack was prevented when various agencies around the world were able to disrupt the planned hijacking of several commercial airliners bound for the United States which were going to be crashed. The death toll no doubt would have been in the thousands possibly rivaling the numbers killed on the September 11, 2001 attacks.

This week we find that a liberal judge with a history of partisan bench rulings has decided that the Terrorist Surveillance Program (TSP) is illegal on Constitutional grounds. Judge Anna Diggs-Taylor's ruling I believe is based on some very dubious logic and shaky legal grounds.

Firstly in any lawsuit the court has an obligation to determine standing before making a ruling. The lawsuit was brought by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). The Judge allowed the suit without requiring the ACLU to demonstrate how they themselves or their clients were specifically harmed or had their personal rights or well being harmed by this program. Of course to do so would have required exposure of highly classified revelations. Very sorts of things that the left has constantly waved away whenever discussion of this program is brought up. Generally the courts throw out lawsuits that would require the government to reveal highly classifed state secrets as a matter of course. That alone should have tossed this suit. Instead she allowed it to go on without making the ACLU prove standing. The ACLU in fact has no standing in this matter.

Secondly the Judge, as many liberals have, referred to wiretapping. What we have been told about this program shows that it is not wiretapping. Instead it is eavesdropping on calls that are generated from phone numbers suspected of being connected to terrorists. That a call may originate in Hamburg and end up say...in Dearborn Michigan should not make it immune to intercept. There is no tap being put on any phones through this program. This is afterall, not a domestic surveillance program no matter how many times the New York Times and the blogosphere left say differently.

Thirdly the Judge claimed that the government can listen in for 72 hours without carrying out the very specific procedues that FISA requires. This is not true. It has not been true despite thousands of slanted articles written in the mainstream media to this effect. Under the program the National Security Agency (NSA) must prove to the Attorney General that a particular intercept can meet each and every one of the FISA requirements before they can listen in. No contrary instance was cited in this case (which again would have established some potential standing). The Judge seems to have drawn this conclusion from reading misinformation from the media rather then anything placed in evidence.

Fourthly the Judge makes the amazing statement that the Constitution (Fourth Amendment) "requires prior warrants for any reasonable search, based upon prior-existing probable cause." This is absurd in the extreme. Think about that for a second. By this statement she is claiming that a police officer who pulls you over with probable cause (erratic driving) suspecting that you are drunk..must first go to a judge to get a warrant signed before conducting a field sobriety test. Has there ever been a statement by a Federal Judge in a major ruling that was so obviously foolish? The Fourth Amendment is not designed to hide citizens from the government. This Amendment, as in all articles and Amendments in the Constitution, exists to provide reasonable protections for all citizens while providing for government to carry out it's primary tasks. Things like...protecting us during time of war by engaging in foreign intelligence collection.

Fifthly she ignored the repeated cases where the FISA Court of Review, Federal cases and the United States Supreme Court have all held that the President does in fact have inherent authority to conduct foreign intelligence collection as part of his duties as Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces. We are at war. This is not a criminal investigation we are talking about here. TSP falls absolutely under that authority since the NSA is a military intelligence organization and the TSP is a foreign intelligence gathering operation against enemies that we are in fact at war against. It would be hard for the law to be more clear.

Sixthly the Judge ignores vast numbers of rulings that contradict her opinions. This is unethical on her part and should be grounds for removal from the bench.

I conclude that the Judge is playing partisan politics with a vital program. The anti-Bush crowd is cheering a ruling that is short sighted, absurdly unprofessional, poorly written and not worthy of further consideration. It will be overruled on appeal either by the 6th Circuit Court or the United States Supreme Court. Further, to my friends on the left...remember this. We are at war. That is a matter of fact whether you like it or not. Programs such as TSP are ongoing all the time. It would frankly be completely impossible for this country to be defended without the ability to intercept foreign communications. This silly ruling by this silly judge taken to conclusion means that government never has authority to conduct a search of any kind without a warrant (overturning hundreds of years of legal precedent) and that none of our national intelligence agencies could conduct any surveillance of any potential enemy the moment that individual contacts a U.S. citizen in a tactical situation that can change instantly...without taking the steps to go to a court and demonstrate probable cause and acquire a warrant. No President in American history has had such a constraing placed upon them. No Commander in a battlefield could succeed under such conditions. Only the most insanely ignorant person on matters of warfighting would claim otherwise. The Judge has failed in her duties and has only proven that she...like many liberals...would rather see this nation lose the war on terror then to see Bush succeed. Her ruling is transparent. It must be overturned.

It is Cease Fire Time in Lebanon!
Well the cease fire has arrived. So, I assume this means that Hezbollah will be returning the two kidnapped Israeli soldiers that lit this thing off to begin with.

Obviously the United Nations will require Hezbollah to comply. I mean, there is no way this was just an exercise in legitimizing an Islamo-Fascist terrorist organization. No way that would happen.

The Media: Defeating the US military

Iraq, Vietnam, the MSM & Dan Rather

By Jack Kelly

Dan Rather's 44-year relationship with CBS News came to an unceremonious end this week. This should remind us that of the many differences between the Vietnam war and the war in Iraq, the three most important are talk radio, Fox News, and the Internet.

Mr. Rather must think his fate unfair. He was in effect fired when the documents on which he based an expose of President Bush's National Guard service were shown to be clumsy forgeries. But Walter Cronkite, who told a much bigger lie, is still an esteemed figure at CBS.

The turning point in Vietnam was the Tet Offensive of February, 1968. It was a crushing defeat for the Viet Cong.

"Our losses were staggering and a complete surprise," said North Vietnamese Army Col. Bui Tin in a 1995 interview. "Our forces in the South were nearly wiped out. It took until 1971 to re-establish our presence."

"The Tet Offensive proved catastrophic to our plans," said Truong Nhu Tang, minister of justice in the Viet Cong's provisional government, in a 1982 interview. "Our losses were so immense we were unable to replace them with new recruits."

The news media reported this overwhelming American victory as a catastrophic defeat.

Shaken by Tet, he planned to seek terms for a conditional surrender, the North Vietnamese commander, Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap, wrote in his memoirs. But our news media's complete misrepresentation of what had actually happened "convinced him America's resolve was weakening and complete victory was within Hanoi's grasp," Mr. de Borchgrave said.

(emphasis mine)

What amazes me about this situation is that not only did Cronkite get away with it, but the media is being allowed to repeat the entire act. There is no reason other than the treason of the media that we had to pull out of Vietnam. If our media had been silenced North Vietnam would be a democracy and millions of South Vietnam civilians lives would have been saved.

Walter Cronkite and the MSM are DIRECTLY responsible for the loss of millions of civilian lives, and thousands of American soldiers who would have been saved had the North Vietnamese not been emboldened and encouraged by the Left wing MSM's propaganda against our own military. It seems the worst mistake our government has ever made in warfare is allowing the media on the battlefield.

I've said this time and time again. The media should be prosecuted for treason for the Vietnam War, and every major battle that they have reported falsely on since that war, and permanently REMOVED from the battle field. If you can't report accurately DON'T REPORT AT ALL! Being on the battle field and being that source of information to the American people is a PRIVELEGE, and NOT a right. The left wing MSM should have that privilege cut off ... permanently.

Boy Surrounded and Beaten at Lexington’s Estabrook Elementary School after Father Exercised Statutory Right to be Notified of Kindergarten Classes about Homosexuality

After Lexington resident David Parker exercised his statutory right last year to be notified in advance of classes about homosexuality at his son’s kindergarten class at Estabrook Elementary School in Lexington so that he could request that the boy be excused from attending them, his son (who is now in first grade) was surrounded this month by a group of students during recess, receiving multiple blows to the chest, stomach and genital area.

Global Warming Skeptic Claims Environmental Conversion
Thursday, May 25, 2006
By Steven Milloy

Al Gore’s new global warming movie is apparently causing some to think that a major turning point in the debate is at hand.

The ranks of the so-called global warming “skeptics” were supposedly thinned this week when prominent environmental commentator Gregg Easterbrook announced his defection in a May 24 New York Times op-ed.

“As an environmental commentator, I have a long record of opposing alarmism. But based on the data I’m now switching sides regarding global warming, from skeptic to convert,” wrote Easterbrook, a senior editor with The New Republic and a fellow at the Brookings Institution.

Easterbrook a “skeptic”? With “a long record of opposing alarmism”? Are there two Gregg Easterbrooks?

It's funny how devicive this debate has become with scientists pretending to come out of the proverbial closet supporting something "They didn't support before". The whole thing reminds me of a bad episode General Hospital.

What kills me about the whole thing is that people expect us to take these "scientists" at their word when they so obviously trying to manipulate the debate using the media and any loud mouthed politician looking for an oportunity to score votes.

How can one come to ANYother conclusion than this? What person on a quest for factual evidence and substantiation of a theory or hypothesis would ONLY consider one side of the evidence in any case? Anyone who wants to know the whole story considers ALL of the evidence. Anyone who only considers the information that supports their theory is ... not searching for truth.

So where does that leave us? When the scientists become politicians and business men who will we look to for factual scientific explinations? Aparently that's becoming a very difficult question.

Congress Overlooks Stem Cell Fraud and Futility

Thursday, May 25, 2006
By Steven Milloy

The Senate is preparing to vote this summer on a bill restoring funding to embryonic stem cell research. Its a situation that should make you wonder whether our elected representatives pay any attention at all to current events.

Just this week, the South Korean government charged disgraced researcher Hwang Woo-suk with criminal fraud and embezzlement for his role in fabricating data in two highly publicized studies claiming significant advances in embryonic stem cell research one claiming to have cloned the first human embryo and the other to have created patient-specific stem cells.

These claims helped spur the U.S. House of Representatives to vote in May 2005 to override President Bushs August 2001 limits on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research. But by November 2005, Dr. Hwangs claims began to unravel leading to the retraction of his studies from publication the following month.

This discussion has been going on for years, and no one on capitol hill is aparently listening. The hill seems more political glory driven than fact driven, and we wonder why it's so hard to get REAL problems taken care of and REAL solutions funded.

Most politicians are more interested in being in the spot light with the latest fad movement supporting whatever will score them points with their vocal locals, than taking the time to recognize the REAL problems and then take the time to develop the MUCH less hyped REAL solutions.

Seems politicians (especially liberals) are becoming more and more like teenagers flocking to every fad and online chain letter like they're some life changing, soul saving, world peace generating cure all.

Bell bottoms will not stop global warming anymore than embrionic stem cell research will make you live forever. Global warming is a THEORY much like macro evolution. If you don't get this then you're reading only one side of the story and that makes you a pawn rather than a free thinker.

You want to be a free thinker? Quit letting Al Gore, Al Sharpton (I refuse to call him Reverend anymore), Jessie Jackson, Michael Moore, ABC news, whatever teen angst prime time show you're adicted to, whatever sitcom you let drain your brain pan, and/or those stupid political ads do your thinking for you.

Some of you call Christians sheep. When I hear that it makes me laugh. At least Christian's know who their leader is, and where He's going. At least we can admit we're conservative and tell you point blank what we REALLY think.

Most liberals can't even admit that they're liberal, much less come to terms with the fact that their media driven, and bound for socialism. Please come to terms with yourself, and quit pawning your own self depreciation and shame off on people who are unaffraid to admit who they are.

As Jack Nicholson once said, "Go sell crazy somewhere else. We're all stocked up here".

A Speech UN Ambassador John Bolton Should Give
I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for
peace.  So, here's one plan."

1) "The
US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past &present.  You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those "good ole boys", we will never "interfere" again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with
Germany, South Korea, the Middle East, and the Philippines.  They don't want us there.  We would station troops at our borders.  No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We’ll give them a free trip home.  After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are.  They're illegal!!!
France will welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit!!!!  No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in.  If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide here.  Asylum would never be available
to anyone.  We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5) No foreign "students" over age 21.  The older ones are the bombers.  If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home baby.

6) The
US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise.  This will include developing nonpolluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness.  The caribou will have to cope for a while.

7) Offer
Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil.  If they don't like it, we go someplace else.  They can go somewhere else to sell their production.  (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere."  They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need.  Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army.  The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island someplace.  We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school.  That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer.  The Language we speak is ENGLISH...learn it..or LEAVE...Now, isn't that a winner of a plan?

"The Statue of Liberty is no longer
saying "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses."  She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, 'you want a piece of me?' "

I apologize if anyone has posted this already, I'm out of the loop...

But, does anyone else in here find it weird and unusual that Muslims have only begun protesting the Danish cartoons 5 months after it was originally published?? Maybe this was planned...Otherwise, how did so many Iranians - and other Muslim extremists - get their filthy hands on so many Danish flags to burn???

Delivering the Conservative Message to Combat Campus Liberal Bias
By Jim Brown
November 29, 2005

(AgapePress) - A new group vows to expose and combat liberal bias on university campuses and has launched a website to help in achieving that goal.

The Network of College Conservatives has been launched to provide a voice for students who are being harassed, intimidated, or even shouted down on campus because of their conservative or "right-wing" beliefs. Christopher Flickinger, a columnist for Human Events Online, says he founded the Network to help those students get a well-rounded education because, according to Flickinger, "they're certainly not going to get it from their professors in the classroom."

"I'm going to use the Internet and I'm going to provide these kids with a conservative education," he boldly proclaims, stating his intentions to convey conservative values, conservative views, and "news ... based on conservative principles."

"And while the professors teach them liberal ideology in the classroom, when they're at home, when they're in their dorm rooms, when they're on the computer -- which they are so often -- from me they're going to get the conservative side," Flickinger says.

The columnist says the group's website is a "one-stop shop" for students who wish to voice their concerns over liberal indoctrination. And he says he has already received a good share of hate mail because of his new site, noting college administrators and professors view his website as a threat to their power.

Flickinger says the Network of College Conservatives has been endorsed by economist Richard Vetter and by Peter Hannaford, a close personal friend of Ronald Reagan who worked with the late president during his presidential bids in the 1980s.

Survey Proves Retailers Banning Christmas
Action by Federated Stores Shows The Results We Can Achieve!

I thought you would be interested in a survey we did. We gathered advertising inserts from 11 different companies placed in two papers on Nov. 27 (Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal and Memphis Commercial Appeal.) Combined, the inserts totaled 280 pages.

Of the 11 companies, only one—McRae's/Belks—had a reference to "Christmas." They mentioned "Christmas" only two times. The other 10 companies did not mention "Christmas" a single time! While refusing to use "Christmas," they used the term "holiday" a total of 59 times in their 10 inserts.

The companies which refused to mention Christmas a single time in their 260 pages of insert promotions were Target, Kroger, Office Max, Walgreens, Sears, Staples, Lowe's, J.C. Penney, Dell and Best Buy.

Ask these companies why they banned "Christmas" in their in-store promotions and retail advertising and they will tell you they didn't want to offend anyone. They mean, of course, anyone except Christians.

These retailers are willing to use Christmas to secure about 20% of their yearly sales, but they absolutely refuse to mention the Reason for the season.

To see what we can achieve by working together, read the statement from Federated Stores. We boycotted them last year. Click here to see how they have changed.

Please sign our petition below. We are writing every national retailer which bans "Christmas" asking them to change their policy and letting them know how many have signed the petition. Thus far we have nearly 350,000. Our goal is 1,000,000. It is urgent that you sign the petition and forward it to your friends and family. We need numbers so that the national retailers will take notice!

If we will stick together and take action, next year we will see scores of retailers recognizing "Christmas" as a Christian holy day instead of a secular "holiday".

Please click here to sign our petition now!

UK Journalism Sucks
"Dozens of al-Jazeera staff at the HQ are not, as many believe, Islamic fanatics. Instead, most are respected and highly trained technicians and journalists.

To have wiped them out would have been equivalent to bombing the BBC in London and the most spectacular foreign policy disaster since the Iraq War itself."

Is this a news piece, or an editorial?   Makes me wonder if the  journalism  standards in the UK are even lower than ours (if thats possible).  Grrr!
